How to Force Remove JBL FLIP 5

Removing a failed device from Windows 10 may even fix issues with your JBL FLIP 5. If removing your device from Windows is not working, it may be caused by a number of reasons. First method: Go to the Airplane Mode
- Press Windows Key + I on your keyboard

- Open Network & Internet tab

- Select Airplane Mode on the left
- On the right switch on the Airplane Mode
- Your JBL FLIP 5 should now be disconnected from your PC, good job!
Second method: Remove from the device list
- Open Windows start menu

- Type Control Panel

- Go to the Control Panel

- Navigate into View devices and printers under Hardware and sound section

- Find your JBL FLIP 5 in this view

- Right-click on JBL FLIP 5 and press Remove device

- Congratulations, your JBL FLIP 5 should now be removed from you computer device list!
Third method: Uninstall the device from the Device Manager
- Open Windows start menu

- Type Device Manager

- Go to the Device Manager

- Expand the View tab from the upper panel

- And turn on Show hidden devices option

- Right-click on the JBL FLIP 5 in the Bluetooth devices tab and click at Uninstall device

- Confirm removal by choosing Uninstall

- Your JBL FLIP 5 should now stop appearing in the device list, well done!
Fourth method: Removal using the Registry Editor
- Before you start editing your register make sure you have made a backup!
- Open the Start Menu

- Type regedit

- Open the Registry Editor

- Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BTHPORT\Parameters\Devices

- Right-click on the entry with your device and select Delete

- Reboot your computer
- Congratulations, your JBL FLIP 5 should now be deleted!
Fifth method: Restart Bluetooth Device Association Service
- Open the Start Menu

- Type services

- Open the Services Manager

- Find Device Association Service, right-click it and select Reset

- You should now be able to remove your device by normal means
- Well done, you have successfully removed your device from your computer!
